Our Process

At Prowse, we know details are important to you and your family and that is why we make sure to get them right from the start. That is why we have an intake process designed to ensure both thoroughness and efficiency, with appropriate checks and balances.

Initial client intake – our estate paralegal will gather essential information respecting your estate matter, and provide you with basic information about our services, including cost. This can be done over a brief phone call and should not take more than approximately 20 minutes.

If your matter is for will, personal directive or Enduring Power of Attorney preparation, you will receive a follow up call (telephone or virtual) from one of our estate planning lawyers to further discuss and finalize instructions for the will.

If your matter relates to an estate dispute that you may have, an-depth consultation and strategy session will be scheduled as soon as possible, ether in-person or virtual. This is perhaps the most important meeting you will have with our firm – its where you get to test your case with our lawyers and plan out a strategy, saving you both time and money.

Execution where you are most comfortable – we work through your matter keeping you informed and relaxed throughout and we are happy to attend at your home, if necessary, to review and execute your will.

Closure – Whether with a well-drafted will or after a calculated and measured estate litigation, you and your loved ones move on with peace of mind and closure.
